The Aveyron brings together the largest number of unique campsites in the region, 20 in total, between gorges and causses. The Gard and the Lot follow with 18 campsites each, the Gard around the Cévennes and the Lot near Rocamadour and the Gouffre de Padirac. The Hérault, near Montpellier, has 14 unique campsites, the Gers and the Lozère 12 each, the Pyrénées-Orientales 12 as well. The Ariège totals 11 campsites at the foot of the Pyrenees, the Aude 9 around Carcassonne, the Tarn 9, the Haute-Garonne 7 near Toulouse, the Hautes-Pyrénées and the Tarn-et-Garonne 6 each.
The treehouse can be found notably at Au Songe du Valier, in the Ariège, and at Les Roulottes du Petit Gouffre de Padirac in the Lot for the gypsy caravan, also available at Les Cigales in Rocamadour. Padimadour, also in Rocamadour, offers barrel and pod. Le Mas Cauvy, in the Gard, offers the tipi, while Le Graniers, in Monoblet, combines bivouac and bubble. Bellerive, in the Aveyron, offers a vintage caravan. No unique campsite in the Occitanie currently offers a spa or jacuzzi.
